Mixer manufacturer Charles Ross & Son Co., Hauppauge, NY, announced that its India operations are undergoing another major expansion. In March, Ross Process Equipment Pvt. Ltd. will be moving into a 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in the Chakan MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corp.) industrial area. The new site sits on 2.5 acres, large enough to accommodate further expansions that could double the initial plant space, according to the company.

RPE manufactures several Ross product lines, including tumble blenders, ribbon blenders, planetary mixers, multishaft mixers, high-speed dispersers, high-shear mixers, pressure vessels, tanks and other custom-fabricated equipment. The wholly-owned Ross subsidiary caters to customers in India and neighboring Asian countries.
