Morinaga America Inc., HI-CHEW's parent company, held the groundbreaking ceremony for its second manufacturing facility in Mebane, NC on October 3.

The new factory aims to ramp up production to fulfill the growing demand for HI-CHEW products in the U.S.

On Saturday, June 22, the HI-CHEW Dessert Mix Truck will roll into two of New York City’s Brooklyn and Manhattan neighborhoods: Williamsburg and Soho.

HI-CHEW Dessert Mix has the same long-lasting chewy texture but with new nostalgic dessert flavors: Strawberry Ice Cream, Key Lime Pie, and Candy Apple. 

As a one-stop shop for all things HI-CHEW, the platform features a vast selection of flavor offerings to purchase directly, including Stand Up Pouches, Peg Bags, and Sticks. 

Due to popular demand, HI-CHEW is bringing its colorful pop-up candy shop to Dallas, Los Angeles, and Miami.

We were recently able to connect with Teruhiro (Terry) Kawabe, chief representative for the USA and president, CEO of Morinaga America, Inc., makers of HI-CHEW, about its reduced-sugar candy options.
