Carolina Foods, a North Carolina-based bakery, officially opened its new, state-of-the-art facility in the Charlotte suburb of Pineville, just 10 miles from its historic location in the Queen City's South End neighborhood.

The $75M project is part of Ferrero's ongoing investment and expansion in the market.

The new site will be located in the "Food Valley" of the country, an area that is home to many food multi-nationals and a growing number of start-ups.

The state-of-the-art facility, which exists alongside Ardent Mills’ other three AMICs in Denver, Portland and Saskatoon, will serve as an R&D analytical lab and experimental mill focused on alternative grains. 

In support of the company's focus on product and material testing with the development of custom equipment solutions, the expanded facility features a dedicated test laboratory with full-size, fully operating equipment.

The events were held in the city of Jiangmen, Guangdong, China, where the new Amos factory is located. 

Ruiz Food Products officially opens its Frisco, Texas headquarters office.

On Wednesday, March 6, Amos Food Group will hold an opening ceremony and conference for its new Guangdong, China facility.

Nature’s Bakery plans to add over 190 jobs to its Utah location and invest $237 million in the Utah facility.
