PSSI, the industry’s leading food safety and contract sanitation provider, has announced the promotion of Dawn Winsauer to its leadership team as vice president of operations. Winsauer will oversee the company’s customer relationships and operational initiatives with food processors across the South Central region, including Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
“Dawn is a successful leader who goes above and beyond to protect our employees and our partners,” said Dan Taft, president and CEO of PSSI. “Her in-depth experience and expertise across the company make her a perfect fit for this position and we are proud of her outstanding accomplishments.”
Winsauer has nearly 25 years experience working in sanitation. Starting as an hourly team lead at a plant in Sedalia, Mo. she has been promoted across various roles with PSSI throughout her career including Assistant Site Manager, Senior Technical Service Manager, Area Manager and most recently Division Manager of the South Central region.
Winsauer is SQF and BRC certified and has specialized OSHA and Food Safety training. Throughout her career, she has been consistently recognized for having one of the industry’s lowest OSHA recordable rates, which is a testament to her dedication to employee safety.
