Stellar has relocated and reopened its industrial refrigeration parts and compressor shops in Jacksonville and Fort Worth.
The fully integrated firm focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services worldwide, relocated the two shops to larger facilities with upgraded state-of-the-art equipment to accommodate growing customer demand.
The new Jacksonville shop, located at 5985 Richard St. (Suite 3), serves clients in the Southeastern U.S. The 21,320 square-foot facility is 40 percent larger than its previous location and features a large warehouse for storage of oil drums and remanufactured refrigeration compressors.
The new Fort Worth shop, located at 5700 Stratum Dr., serves clients in the South Central region. The 13,500 square-foot facility is six times the size of its previous location and features a large training room for meetings with regional technicians, vendors and customers.
Both facilities offer climate-controlled storage spaces for their respective parts inventories, and they each feature a compressor shop with a separate teardown room, clean room and paint booth.
“These two new facilities allow us to serve our customers’ parts and compressor needs better than ever before,” said Mike Horst, division manager, compressor services. “Thanks to this additional space, we’re now able to accommodate more clients and their personnel for training workshops and more.”
In addition to the Jacksonville and Fort Worth locations, Stellar also operates parts and compressor shops in Modesto, California, and York, Pennsylvania. All locations stock a large inventory of the leading manufacturers’ remanufactured compressors, meaning Stellar can provide same-day to 24-hour turnaround on most orders.
“Three of our shops also have a 7.5-ton crane, allowing us to take on larger and more complex jobs,” said Horst. “In fact, we’ve already rebuilt two of the largest screw compressors in the country.”
Stellar offers one of the best refrigeration compressor warranties in the industry and is one of the leading rebuilders licensed by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The company offers turnkey compressor services including removal, rebuild, installation and startup, as well as complete filter changes, vibration analysis and oil analysis.
