Icon Foods enters into exclusive partnership with BioLotus Technology

Deal will distribute Chinese company's next-generation stevia-based sweeteners throughout North America

After years of successful collaboration resulting in the development of revolutionary new sweetener blend RA99M, Icon Foods has entered into an exclusive North American distribution agreement with China’s BioLotus Technology Lasa Inc.

Icon will distribute high-purity RebM, RebA and enzymatically treated steviol glycosides, on behalf of BioLotus. The agreement is a natural extension of the partnership the two companies have forged, says Thom King, president and CEO of Icon Foods.

Under terms of the agreement, Icon will act as the exclusive North American distributor for BioLotus, handling warehousing, packaging and all distribution functions. Icon also will handle sales and marketing of the company’s stevia-based sweeteners.
