Bell Flavors & Fragrances is proud to announce its recent promotions of Kelli Heinz, John Kocis, and Susan Payton at their headquarters in Northbrook, IL.

Kelli Heinz was recently promoted to vice president of marketing at Bell. She began her career at Bell in 2006 as an intern in Bell’s marketing department. After completing her master’s degree from DePaul University in 2011, Kelli was asked to take on additional responsibilities to represent Bell at all the Industry Associations. In 2014, Kelli was promoted to director of marketing & industry affairs. Under her director position, Kelli launched Bell's official trend program, 'Spark': Ignites Creativity, Inspires the Senses' to promote the latest flavor and fragrance trends through Bell's unique trend curation process.

In her new role, Kelli is responsible for coordinating Bell's global marketing teams with a primary focus to establish communication and marketing networks. Kelli has served 6 years on the board for the WFFC Chicago Chapter and currently serves as the treasurer. She has also been the program committee chair for FEMA since 2013. In 2018, Kelli was elected to the Board of Directors for the International Fragrance Association of North America. Kelli received her undergraduate Degree at Tulane University and a Master’s Degree from DePaul University. Kelli is currently enrolled in an executive program at Harvard Business School, to be completed in 2018.

John Kocis has been promoted to the position of director of analytical services. John began his career at Bell in 2007 as the manager of analytical services. He has brought a wealth of knowledge regarding validation and implementation of analytical methods to Bell. He has updated and automated Bell’s instrumentation to communicate with a single laboratory computer network, which dramatically improves efficiencies. John has his Bachelor and Master degrees from Western and Northern Michigan Universities, respectively.

Bell is proud to promote Susan Payton to director of customer & administrative services. This change furthers Susan and her team’s steadily increasing level of contribution and responsibility, and also tracks with Bell’s growth and success over the course of her 27 year career at Bell. Susan joined Bell in April 1991, with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. She has been serving multiple capacities during her tenure at Bell, including accounting; office administration; software implementation for teams in the US, Canada, and Mexico; Helpdesk; and customer service manager. In addition, Susan is responsible for sales reporting for Bell global locations including US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, and provides support and reporting to the Bell Sales Team and their key accounts.
