  • Coconut, kale, matcha, acai and turmeric.

Top 5 overhyped diets of 2017:

  • Ketogenic, Paleo, Gluten-free (for individuals who don’t have celiac disease or a gluten sensitivity), Whole30 and low-carbohydrate.

Top 5 trend predictions for 2018:

  • Plant-based eating, mindfulness meditation practice, mash-up classes like piloxing (pilates + boxing), personalized nutrition (i.e. nutrigenomics), and workplace wellness.
