The American Bakers Association is pleased to announce that Brent Bradshaw, Flowers Foods, and Brandon Woods, LeMatic, Inc., will serve as ABA’s NextGenBaker Committee Co-Chairs.
“Brent and Brandon bring a tremendous amount of energy, expertise and innovation to NextGenBaker,” said ABA chairman Fred Penny. “With such an outstanding leadership team in place, I am confident that NextGenBaker will continue its invaluable mission of developing the next generation of baking industry leaders. NextGenBaker is a unique blend of executive management development and promotion of ABA’s aggressive policy agenda on Capitol Hill.”
Bradshaw and Woods will replace outgoing NextGenBaker Co-Chairs Jesse Amoroso, Amoroso’s Baking Co., and Morgan Murphy, Mother Murphy’s Flavors.
“Jesse and Morgan have set a very high bar with their leadership of NextGenBaker,” said NextGenBaker ABA staff liaison Kelly Knowles. “It has been an honor to work so closely with them since 2014, and over the course of their tenure NextGenBaker has made great strides in program content, member participation and political engagement.”
“NextGenBaker is a vital part of developing the future leaders of the baking industry,” said Penny. “NextGenBaker provides the venue for the next generation of industry leaders to grow skills, network with industry peers and learn about the policy process.”
The NextGenBaker Networking Reception will be held Sunday, March 26 in conjunction with the ABA Convention in Boca Raton, Florida. All ABA members are encouraged to attend.
