Lars Asferg has joined Lallemand Inc., Montreal. Based at the company’s offices in Zug, Switzerland, he will be responsible for the Bio-Ingredients Division’s Baking Solutions and Bio-Ingredients business units. He will succeed Kevin Kraus next year, when Kraus moves to a new senior management position.
Asferg comes to Lallemand with 25 years of general management experience in biotechnology and food ingredients. Most recently, he was vice president of innovation for DSM Food Specialties.
Lallemand is a developer, producer and marketer of yeasts, bacteria and other microorganisms serving a variety of industries, including baking and food.
