Snyder of Berlin, a Berlin, PA-based snack company that produces chips, cheese snacks, popcorn, and more, recently debuted new packaging, starting with its new 2.75-oz. potato chip snack bags. It will be extended to its full line of snacks throughout 2015.
The new packaging features a barn on the front to remind consumers of the barns dotting the landscape throughout the Berlin area as well as key nutritional information (calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugars per serving).
The back of the packaging features an image of and information about a different landscape or location in the Berlin area: Ohiopyle Falls (Original Potato Chips), Wolf Rocks in Linn Run State Park (Original Bar-B-Q Potato Chips), the Great Allegheny Passage Bike Trail (Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips), the Somerset Historical Center (Cheddar & Sour Cream Potato Chips) and the Lower Humbert Covered Bridge (Honey Bar-B-Q Potato Chips).
“With the introduction of the new packaging, consumers are not merely eating a snack, they can learn about and discover Pennsylvania’s sights, while bringing Snyder of Berlin snacks along for the adventure,” says Jeff Leichleiter, vice president and general manager.
