Jim McCarthy, president of the Snack Food Association (SFA), joins the North American Millers’ Association (NAMA), Washington, as president and CEO on Oct. 1. NAMA represents grain millers in the U.S. and Canada that supply milled flour to the baking, pasta and snack food industries.
McCarthy began his tenure at SFA in 1991 as the vice president, government relations, and was named SFA president and CEO in 1999. For more than 20 years, he represented the snack food industry in Washington, creating strategic responses to and successfully guiding members through state and federal issues of critical importance to the industry.
