Los Angeles-based Pak Group LLC, owner of the Bellarise bakery ingredients product line and a yeast producer, opened its new headquarters and baking lab at 236 N. Chester Ave., Suite 200, in Pasadena, Calif.

“The decision to move was due in part to our company expansion and the addition of a new baking laboratory,” says president Walter Postelwait, adding that the baking laboratory is equipped with a wide variety of top-of-the-line equipment to mimic most commercial bread, pizza and snack food manufacturing setups. “The new space enables us to be more efficient and even more effective in delivering solutions, service and support to the baking industry."

As part of the expansion, the Pak Group plans to hire an additional sales manager and a logistics assistant for the Pasadena facility.
