Dot Foods expanded its snack offering through a partnership with Clif Bar & Co., Emeryville, Calif. The Mount Sterling, Ill., food redistributor now carries a full range of Clif Bar products, including CLIF Bar energy bar; LUNA, The Whole Nutrition Bar for Women; CLIF Kid, Nourishing Kids in Motion; and CLIF SHOT Hydration Drink. Dot began shipping Clif Bar’s snack and drink options on Aug. 12.

“We’re very excited about this partnership with Clif Bar,” says Eric Peters, senior business development manager at Dot Foods. “Their products have a great reputation of quality, and their arrival to our lineup is highly anticipated.”

Clif’s products are made with organic ingredients and contain no trans-fat, partially-hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, synthetic preservatives or ingredients sourced from genetically-modified organisms (GMOs).

“We are excited to begin this relationship with Dot.” says Karin Thrift, director of sales at Clif Bar. “It will allow our existing distributors to have easy access to our products as well as give us access to smaller distributors.”
