Sun-Maid celebrates 100th anniversary with holiday sweepstakes

Sun-Maid, Kingsburg, Calif., is celebrating its 100th anniversary by giving away more than a thousand customer prizes this holiday season. A farmer-owned cooperative best known for raisins, dried fruits and raisin bread, Sun-Maid will run its 100th anniversary sweepstakes until Dec. 31, 2012, at www.facebook.com/SunMaidGirl.

The company will present $100 Visa gift cards to 100 grand-prize winners, Sun-Maid Monopoly board games to 500 first-place winners and hardcover Sun-Maid Anniversary Books to 1,000 second-place winners. Anyone entering the sweepstakes is eligible to download, for free, the Sun-Maid Anniversary eBook and Recipe Booklet.
“We want to thank our customers and their families, who have been eating Sun-Maid raisins and raisin bread for the past 100 years," said Sun-Maid president Barry Kriebel.
Sun-Maid Growers of California is a farmers’ cooperative owned by 750 family farmers whose vineyards comprise approximately 50,000 acres in California’s Central Valley.
