Highlights include:
AServSafetraining and certification program will be offered on Apr. 18 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Apr. 19 from 8 a.m.–Noon. This session will focus on the causes of foodborne illnesses and how to minimize their risk, the principles of food safety, how to establish systems for safe receiving, storing, preparing, cooking, holding, serving, cooling and reheating and how to build cleaning, sanitizing and pest control systems.
Four half-day workshops. On Apr. 19, from 1-5 p.m., speakers will provide in-depth analysis on the following topics: “HACCP is Not a Four-Letter Word”; “Training for Results”; “Effective Risk Communication to Secure Food Safety Resources”; and “The Three Pillars of Successful Food Liability Program: Prevention, Response and Resolution.”
Show floor highlights.
