At its recently held annual convention and industry Expo held last month in St. Louis, the Retail Confectioners International (RCI) inducted five new members to its board of directors. The new board members replace those whose terms are expiring. The new members include:
Rudolph Dolle, Dolle's Candyland Inc., Ocean City, Md.
Pam Hartley, Joy Lyn's Candies, Paradise, Calif.
Greg Power, Helen Grace Chocolates, Lynwood, Calif.
Joe Reiser, Winans Fine Chocolates, Piqua, Ohio
Diane Trout, The Blommer Chocolate Co., Media, Pa.
Additionally, Virginia Whetstone Maguire of Whetstone Chocolates in St. Augustine, Fla., was inducted to serve as the 2014-2015 president of the board of directors.
"We are fortunate to have a board that represents the diversity of our membership as it is comprised of individuals who own or are employed by a variety of business sizes," says Angie Burlison, RCI’s executive director. "I look forward to working with our board of directors in the coming year as we continue our mission of serving the needs of retail chocolate and candy makers."
