The Big League Chew brand has partnered with National Pro Fastpitch following the launch of the brand’s new softball character this year.
“This year we’re celebrating the launch of our new softball character that’s inspired by girls who play hard and dream big and what better way to do so than by teaming up with National Pro Fastpitch whose athletes epitomize just that,” said Big League Chew inventor Rob Nelson. “Big League Chew is bubble gum fun for everyone and we can’t wait to see the teams, players and fans of NPF sharing in that fun with us this season.”
Fans can expect to see in-game and collaborative promotions beginning immediately in individual team markets and throughout the 2019 season, as well as the upcoming NPF College Draft.
“This is a natural partnership, and the timing is perfect,” League Commissioner Cheri Kempf said. “We are enthusiastic about helping to grow the Big League Chew brand, and to expose their respect and attention to the female athlete, to our global consumer base.”
The NPF season Opening Day is set for May 28 between the Beijing Shougang Eagles and the Canadian Wild of Southern Illinois. The defending Champions, USSSA Pride, will open up at the Canadian Wild on June 6, with the Cleveland Comets and Chicago Bandits also opening up that day. The Aussie Peppers will be the last team to open the season as they welcome Beijing to North Mankato on June 9.
