Kellogg Company announced a voluntary recall of approximately 10,000 cases of Kellogg's Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. No other Eggo products are impacted by this recall.
Kellogg Co. says it will close its Charlotte, N.C., snack manufacturing plant and eliminate two snack lines at its Cincinnati plant by the end of the year.
The maker of Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies will cut 7% of its global workforce, or about 2,000 jobs, as part of a four-year cost-saving plan amid a persistent slowdown in breakfast items and snacks.
