Second-time host Paulaur Corporation welcomed industry professionals to its facility for a Panned Confections course held November 12-15

The PMCA Production Conference Program Committee has named James Walsh,  food scientist, nutrition and bakery at Tate & Lyle, as the twenty-seventh recipient of the Marie Kelso Memorial Award.

The conference will take place April 15–17 in Lancaster, PA.

Attendees representing a variety of companies participated in the course, held June 20–23 in Buffalo, NY.

Reginald Ohlson, retired from Mars, received the PMCA Distinguished Service Award, and Pam Gesford, Hershey, received the 25th Marie Kelso Memorial Award.

PMCA's production conference will take place April 17–19, at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, PA.

Thirty students representing a variety of companies participated in the course, held Oct. 25-28 at Paulaur Corporation in Cranbury, N.J.

Set for June 7-8, “Research Symposium: Cannabis in Confections & Snacks” will provide insights and answer questions on emerging issues within the infused products segment.

University of Missouri-Columbia student Alan McClure, PMCA’s 2018-2019 grant-in-aid recipient, has completed his research project, “Optimization of Bitterness in Chocolate Through Roasting with Analysis of Related Changes in Important Bitter Compounds.”

As a leading source for training and education, PMCA continues to serve the confectionery and snack industry with new virtual offerings.
