Equipment Snapshot: Reading Thermal recently announced the SCORPION 2 Digital Humidity Sensor.
The sensor can now easily measure moisture in processes with heavy steam injection, like bread applications.
The operational range for this sensor has been extended from 0 to 85 degree C dew point to 0 to 100 degree C dew point.
Reading Thermal has also added % Moisture by Volume as an output for more logical graph interpretation.
A few other improvements/additions to this sensor:
- Anti-Saturation Technology
- Unaffected by combustion gases
- No Preheating Required
- No Special Thermal Barriers Needed
- 2 Product Probe Inputs
- Compatible with 32mm tall SCORPION 2 Systems
