Frankfort based dried fruit pioneer Graceland Fruit announces the following additions to its management team:

Doug Rath has been promoted to vice president of human resources. In his new role, he will have an increased focus on broad, strategic planning as it relates to the human resource function and continuing to position Graceland Fruit as an employer of choice. This will include streamlining Wisconsin and Michigan programs and platforms. Prior to this position, Doug worked as HR manager and HR director at Graceland Fruit. Doug serves on the boards of Networks Northwest and Michigan Food Processor & Distribution Fund, a self-insured workers comp fund. He holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Personnel Administration and Human Resources from Michigan State University.

Dan Engler has joined Graceland Fruit as chief operations officer. Dan has comprehensive experience in Operations, Supply Chain, and New Product Innovation. In his newly created position, he will lead Graceland’s operations and supply chain teams, using his skills in organizational development to strengthen all areas of operations. Dan brings decades of experience working in leadership positions within the automotive industry. Prior to joining Graceland, Dan served as global vice president of supply chain for Dayco Products., LLC and most recently as executive VP of sales and operations at FGA technologies, where he assisted with startup operations in the USA. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla (now Missouri School of Science and Technology).
