Anne Schumacher, 37, will become the new vice president in charge of Koelnmesse’s Food and Food Technology area of expertise as of July 15, 2018. In her new position she will be responsible for the trade fairs Anuga, ISM, Eu’Vend & coffeena, veganfach, Anuga FoodTec and ProSweets Cologne within Koelnmesse’s portfolio of events in Cologne. She will also be responsible for the overarching strategy and communication of the entire Koelnmesse segment “Global Competence in Food and FoodTec”, including the respective trade fairs held outside Germany.
“Ms. Schumacher is distinguished by her broad leadership experience and strong specialist know-how. We look forward to working with her to further develop the global network of our leading food fairs in Germany and abroad,” says Gerald Böse, the president and chief executive officer of Koelnmesse.
