As part of Dawn Foods’ longstanding commitment to helping its customers grow their business, the company’s second annual Sweetest Bakery in America is officially open for registration, with voting beginning March 1 (ending July 31).
The contest is tailored with the goal of growing the business of participating bakeries. Specifically, boosting sales, driving traffic, improving loyalty and making every bakery participating top of mind in their community.
Of note, last year, the competition drew nearly 600,000 votes, with more than 1,400 bakeries across the United States and Puerto Rico participating. Additionally, nearly 75 percent of participating bakeries experienced an increase in sales during the contest period, with top participating bakeries reporting a sales increase of up to 20 percent.
In September, Dawn Foods will name one national, grand prize winner, second and third-place national winners, and winners in each state, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico. The national winner will receive publicity support for their bakery, a celebration party and an innovation session to create even more delicious treats for their community. State winners will also receive support from Dawn Foods to help promote their bakeries in their communities.
