Bell Flavors & Fragrances is pleased to announce the newest promotions and new hire at Bell’s headquarters in Northbrook, IL. Bell is a family-owned company within the flavors and fragrance industry for over 100 years, and continues to see the company grow as a leading producer of flavor and fragrance ingredients. Just as Bell provides ingredients of the highest quality, its employees are similarly seen as the highest quality.
The Regulatory Team at Bell Northbrook is privileged to have a team with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences and has drastically expanded over the years with the ever increasing need for regulatory support.
Debbie Goschy has been promoted to regulatory affairs manager after working with Bell’s regulatory team for 5 years supporting many regulatory programs. Debbie has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science from DePaul University. Debbie began her career in the flavor industry at Bell, and with over 20 years of experience in the flavor and fragrance industry, she excels in Analytical Chemistry, Quality Control, Quality Systems, Regulatory Compliance, and Customer Technical support.
Sandy Yu has been promoted to regulatory affairs supervisor after working at Bell for the past 3 years. Sandy is a leader in regulatory work for some of Bell’s major customers. Sandy has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Food Science and Food Manufacturing Operation from Purdue University. Sandy also recently completed one of several courses in US Regulations from the Institute for Food Law and Regulation Graduate program through Michigan State University.
After 9 years of service to Bell, Ya Ling Tsen has been promoted to the position of regulatory compliance specialist. With a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and English, she has provided excellent support to Bell’s international customers and colleagues and supports raw material data management and SDS for flavors, fragrances, and botanicals within the Regulatory department as Database Administrator.
Tracey Gossman has been promoted to the position of purchasing agent. Tracey started working at Bell in May 2011 in the customer service department, then joining the purchasing team as purchasing coordinator in March 2016. Tracey works with Bell’s suppliers to grow business relationships, both domestically and internationally. Her work has achieved great results in several areas including identifying second sources, resolving supply issues, expediting delivery, creative problem solving, cost savings through negotiation, as well as implementing a virtual training platform (SOP). In Tracey’s new role, she will further develop her skills and increase her focus on sourcing.
Bell also welcomes Jordan Hill to the family. Jordan is the newest team member with the Culinary Applications Team in the role of culinary applications technologist. He has previously worked as a Food Technologist on various product lines from snacks to prepared meals. Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Management from International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and recently gained his Master of Science in Food Science from Washington State University. Jordan is a member of the Research Chefs Association, ACF, IFT and AACT.
