In its continuing effort to improve the distribution and delivery of packaging materials to customers, Flair is welcoming Greg Cornette to the position of senior corporate logistics manager based in the U.S. headquarters in Appleton, Wisconsin. With over twenty years of experience in supply chain operations for national and international organizations, Greg is looking forward helping Flair develop sustainable logistics processes and solutions that will consistently meet customers’ needs and exceed customers’ expectations.
Cornette possesses a broad knowledge of corporate logistics having managed multiple aspects of complex supply chains including budgeting, enhancing logistics networks, and decreasing costs. Prior to joining Flair, he has held a variety of leadership positions in supply chain management areas including Global Logistics, Material Planning, Inventory, and Sales Order Entry. Responsibilities in these roles included setting logistics strategies, managing multiple supply chain programs, implementing transportation management systems (TMS), and solving shipping issues that would adversely impact customers.
At the core of Cornette’s success in logistics is an appreciation for the impact it has on industry. “While the pace and rate of change are very high, it has always been important, and fulfilling, to see the results of our work improving internal and external customer experiences.
A native of Green Bay, WI, Cornette obtained his BBA in International Business from Saint Norbert College, his MBA from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and Certified Supply Chain Professional Accreditation from APICS. With Flair, Cornette will be turning his education and experiences toward evaluating freight carriers and rates, establishing sustainable logistics key performance indicators (KPI’s), and assessing current shipping technology solutions to improve standard operating processes.
