Archer Daniels Midland Co., Chicago, has named Erik Heggen president, North American Refined Oils. He joined ADM in 2001 and has held key roles in the North American Refined Oils group since 2008. In his new role, Heggen will be responsible for overseeing ADM’s North American vegetable oil refineries and the company’s oils and fats product portfolio in the region.
“Erik has been instrumental in delivering great service to our Refined Oils customers by paying close attention to evolving customer needs and leveraging technology, especially to help drive our customer profitability capabilities,” says Greg Morris, ADM senior vice president and president, global oilseeds. “We are pleased to have him now leading this business to continue driving results forward for our customers and the Refined Oils team.”
Heggen replaces Ray Bradbury, who was recently appointed president, risk management, for ADM’s Corn business unit.
