The Long Company, Elmhurst, IL, has named Mike Maurine as president of the coop, effective October 1. Mike brings a wealth of experience in the baking industry, including management positions at Ventura Foods, AB Mauri/Fleischmann’s Yeast, Cargill/Horizon Milling, and Best Brands. Most recently, Mike has served as director of bakery sales and purchasing at the Long Company since 2013. He resides in Douglasville, GA with his wife, Laure. They have a daughter, Samantha.

Mike will be replacing Bill Zimmerman, who will be retiring at the end of September.
