The Schubert Group recently announced that Schubert Packaging Systems (SPS), Dallas, and Schubert Packaging Automation (SPA), Toronto, are moving to new headquarters in Charlotte, NC, to further improve customer service in the U.S. and Canada. At the same time, the company will now be known as Schubert North America in the U.S. and Canada.
As of Oct. 1, Schubert’s activities in the U.S. and Canada will be coordinated from the group’s new North American headquarters. The new location will enable a better connection to both Germany and Canada, and benefits from a well-established infrastructure. It features space for approximately 30 employees, a large warehouse for spare parts, a machine room and a training facility.
SPS in Dallas and SPA in Toronto will be kept as service hubs and, in the case of SPA, also as a sales office for Canada. Technicians will be present at both locations.
Fritz Kipfer, currently managing director of Schubert Canada, will head up Schubert North America. Johannes Schubert, grandson of company founder Gerhard Schubert, will support Kipfer. In addition, members from all Schubert’s subsidiaries will be on site, including Schubert-Pharma and Schubert’s engineering unit, IPS.
