IOI Loders Croklaan, Channahon, IL, has launched a series of courses developed to educate the industry members about the elimination of partially hydrogenated oils (PHOs) in their products.

The two-day, hands-on course, titled “PHO Removal 201,” is designed to assist the industry with the seamless removal of PHOs and give participants the opportunity to learn about the various options available, with additional focus on the impact of trans fat on nutrition and labeling. The course will be held May 20-21 and Aug. 26-27 at the IOI Loders Croklaan Creative Studio in Channahon. Interested individuals can register and download a course agenda at www.Go-No-PHO.com, or contact Shellie Kramer, IOI Loders Croklaan’s marketing manager at 800-621-4710.
