After 30 years of leading Little Lady Foods, Elk Grove Village, Ill., co-CEOs John and Dan Geocaris have announced that they will step down from the day-to-day management of the company. They will retain their roles on the company’s board of directors and continue to support Little Lady Foods’ customer and growth efforts and maintain ownership interest in the company.
Little Lady Foods has initiated a search for a new CEO, who will be responsible for all company activities and report directly to the board.
Several members of the Crowns, a Chicago-based family office, will also assume a more active role in ownership and management of Little Lady. Tanya Burnell will join as executive vice president—corporate strategy and marketing, while Keenan Johnston will join as director—corporate strategy. Both will report to the board until a new CEO is in place. Effective immediately, sales, marketing, quality and human resources will report to Burnell.
Jim Sharwarko, chief financial officer, and Steve Kunkle, senior vice president of operations, will continue in their current roles, reporting to the board.
