On the heels of the record-breaking International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) 2013, the American Bakers Association (ABA) announces the IBIE 2016 Committee baker members spearheading the industry’s efforts for another show in three short years.

ABA bids farewell to Jack Lewis, president of Lewis Bakeries, Evansville, Ind., who is cycling off the committee this year, after an unprecedented multi-decade term on the IBIE Committee. He will be replaced by Robin Alton, current ABA chairman and president of Pan-O-Gold Baking, Glendale Heights, Ill.

Joe Turano, president of Turano Baking Co., Berwyn, Ill., will serve as IBIE Committee vice chair for the 2016 show. He served on the IBIE 2013 Committee.

Also serving on the committee will be Mike Beaty, executive vice president–supply chain, Flowers Foods, Thomasville, Ga.; Rosalio Rodriguez, executive vice president, Grupo Bimbo, Mexico City; and Dave Watson, vice president–engineering, Campbell Soup Co., Camden, N.J.
