James Robinson, vice president of manufacturing services for The Long Co., passed away Sept. 9. Robinson has worked for the Chicago-based company since July 2004.  Prior to joining The Long Co., he served for more than 20 years as vice president of manufacturing services for Quality Bakers of America, home ofSunbeambread.

Robinson is survived by his wife Diane, one son, four brothers, one sister and a host of friends. In lieu of flowers, his family has requested donations made in Robinson’s honor to the St. Judes Children Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
