Once the winners of primetime television’s most prestigious annual awards — the Emmys — are announced, it’s time to party. This year at the 64th Primetime Emmy Governors Ball, which will be held at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences headquarters in North Hollywood on September 23rd, Marich Confections will sponsor two tasting bars at the event as well as offer celebrity guests a specially designed package of chocolates as a take home gift.
"We are committed to supporting local growers and producers by sourcing many of our ingredients and materials from our home state of California,” says Brad van Dam, Marich Confection’s ceo. “Our premium confections are infused with the quality, creativity and diversity that our family and California is known for.
“From our fourth-generation chocolate maker to the milk and butter from our dairy farmers and the dedicated growers of our nuts and fruits, the long-term partnerships are one of our finest ingredients,” he adds. “We believe that the best tasting chocolates are those that are responsibly made. We continue to strive to reduce our impact on the environment by using packaging that is recyclable, printed with soy based inks and made of recycled content wherever possible."
Several of Marich's flavors will be available for tasting at the event, including: Chocolate Toffee Almond, Chocolate Strawberry, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Cashews and Chocolate Cherries. A preview of the lavish Emmy Governor’s Ball event was given on August 22, showcasing the theme for this year, Rhapsody in Red.
Appropriately, the The Red Hots, a powerhouse group of female vocalists, will be the entertainers that evening.
