PMCA to host fall seminar on cannabis products
Organization voted in 2018 to accept applications from companies that make cannabis-infused products.

PMCA’s 73rd Annual Production Conference was held at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square and Lancaster County Convention Center from Monday, April 8 through Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Lancaster, Pa.
The Professional Manufacturing Confectioners Association (PMCA) is planning a fall 2019 seminar on the challenges with incorporating cannabis into confectionery and snack products.
While details have not yet been finalized, the seminar will include presentations from industry professionals on formulation, manufacturing considerations and the latest research, among other topics.
The seminar comes after PMCA’s board of directors voted in October 2018 to accept membership applications from companies that produce cannabis-infused products. These companies won’t be permitted to bring cannabis products into states in which they’re not yet legal, but they would be allowed to have promotional materials available at an event.
PMCA hosted the 2019 Production Conference April 8-10 in Lancaster, Pa., but no cannabis-producing companies registered for the event.
To receive details on the seminar as they become available, email info@pmca.com or call (610) 625-4655.
