Jelly Belly Candy Co. is helping make the transition for veterans, service members and military families throughout the United States just a tad easier, and hence sweeter.
The Fairfield, Calif.-based company recently donated $20,000 to Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit organization founded in 2006.
“As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, it’s humbling to see the patriotic work by Jelly Belly Candy Co. to support military members,” says Robin Kelleher, co-founder and president of Hope For The Warriors. “We’re extremely grateful to receive the continued support to Hope For The Warriors’ health and wellness programs.”
Hope For The Warriors provides support programs with focus on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement and connections to community resources for veterans, service members and military families. The organization aims to restore a sense of self, family and hope for those involved in the military. Hope For The Warriors has provided service for approximately 10,000 people to date.
“We are indebted to our servicemen and servicewomen for their sacrifices,” says Lisa Rowland Brasher, president and ceo of Jelly Belly. “That is why it’s an honor to give back in ways that improve the quality of life for our bravest citizens.”
