Preparations for this year’s yummex Middle East, set for Oct. 29-31 in Dubai, are in full swing.

Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, yummex ME is held parallel to two other top events — Gulfood Manufacturing and a new event, Private Label & Licensing Middle East (PRIME).

Gulfood Manufacturing is the largest trade fair in the region for food manufacturing and processing. Together, yummex ME and Gulfood Manufacturing cover the entire value creation chain, from the supplier through the manufacturer to the trade. These shows will be complemented by PRIME, offering potential for the growing private label business.

"The embedding of yummex Middle East into the Gulfood Manufacturing show offers exhibitors and visitors additional potential in new and attractive visitor segments,” says Denis Steker, v.p. – international for Koelnmesse, which organizes yummex ME and ISM in Cologne, Germany.

Yummex ME 2018 drew 283 companies and more than 8,500 visitors from across the globe. The show is steadily increasing its international platform, now featuring 16 country pavilions, including the United States and Mexico, which consisted of a dozen companies.

“We are thrilled to assist U.S. and Mexican companies that want to expand their business in the fast-growing and lucrative Middle East market,” says Mette Petersen, president and ceo of Koelnmesse, Inc., the organization’s Chicago-based division. “The easiest and most effective way to participate in this event is taking space in our U.S. and Mexican pavilions, which will be placed side by side. We offer a fully furnished and designed booth package, convenient for our North American exhibitors. Participants of our group exhibit will have the unique opportunity to connect with senior buyers from hotel chains, major airlines, supermarket chains and dealers/distributors in the Middle East and North Africa."
