The Three Musketeers are back!
Mars Chocolate North America has unveiled its new "Why 3?" campaign for the 3 Musketeers Bar. This marks the brand's first new campaign in more than 10 years and the reunification of the iconic musketeers.
The new campaign features four short features created by DDB Chicago, titled "Double Dutch," "Taxi," "Mirror," and "Carpool." Each spot begins with the question, "Why 3 Musketeers?" while the characters carry out their antics on screen.
The ads then answer the question with statements like, "Because without 3, you can't double dutch," and "Because 2 musketeers would think they're looking in a mirror."
In "Carpool," a single musketeer in a convertible looks around in frustration as the caption, "Because 1 musketeer can't use the carpool lane" comes across the screen.
Each short ends with the motto, "3 Musketeers: The perfect amount of chocolate, fluffy and musketeer."
