Promotion in Motion Inc.’s new corporate headquarters is ready for business —and increased testing — after a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday.
Michael Rosenberg, the company’s president and ceo, joined U.S. Congressman Scott Garrett (R-NJ), to celebrate the opening of the Allendale, N.J. facility, which in addition to housing corporate staff, features a pilot kitchen for creating limited, trial batches of new products.
Rosenberg says the small-scale equipment will allow Promotion in Motion to maintain its efficiency and production at the Somerset, N.J. facility as the company experiments with new formulations.
“We are now able to develop formulas, recipes and processes to enhance our existing products and line extensions, as well as new formulas, recipes and processes to continue driving innovation in creating new products we want to bring to market — all inside of our new pilot plant,” Rosenberg says. “And now we can do so without interrupting production at our manufacturing facilities.”
And after months of hard work, Rosenberg enjoyed celebrating the inauguration of the new facility.
“The ribbon-cutting was very gratifying,” he says.“It was the culmination of endless hours of planning, long days and many long nights by many of our company associates in helping plan for the design, construction, move and opening of our beautiful new Allendale, N.J. corporate headquarters.”
Promotion in Motion manufactures snacks and candies, including Welch’s Fruit Snacks and Sun-Maid Milk Chocolate Raisins. The company also produces original brands such as Juicefuls Juice Filled Fruit Snacks and sour gummy candy Sour Jacks.
