More than a dozen chocolatiers from the Lone Star State will corral in Addison, Texas for DallasChocolate.org’s third annual conference and festival this fall.

Slated for Sept. 29 at the Addison Convention Center, guests can sample sweets from the Texan confectioners, including those from Dallas’ Chocolate Secrets, Dr. Sue’s Chocolates, The Dark Chocolate Bakery and Sublime Chocolate and Huston’s Tejas Chocolate.

Confectioners and connoisseurs alike can also learn the history, making and use of fine chocolate from educational sessions held throughout the day. Additionally, all participating confectioners will present a Confectioner’s Roundtable at the beginning of the event.

Boston’s Rogue Chocolatier and Barry Callebaut USA will also participate in the event.

Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door. Also prior to the event, guests can purchase a $50 VIP ticket package that includes a T-shirt and special chocolates.

Founded in 2009, DallasChocolate.org works to promote Dallas-based artisan chocolate and confectionery education.
