Cocoagraph – Chocolate Photograph Co. is building a new headquarters.
The company is bringing its headquarters to Petaluma, Calif. The new location is slated to include an on-site production facility as well as retail space.
The Bay Area-based company is known for combining two perennial favorites: chocolates and pictures. Specifically, they prints edible images onto artisan chocolate bars.
The chocolates are completely customizable, allowing customers to choose any photo, logo or image they would like. Current options include custom photo bars, holiday bars, "Chocstagram" Instagram bars, logo bars and more.
The retail space a the new headquarters allows customers to order chocolates online or by appointment at the store.
Crafted using Fair Trade chocolate, Cocoagraph's sweets also include organic, vegan and gluten-free options. They are handcrafted in small batches, and the company is planning to expand its existing lines to include gourmet ingredients, unique flavors and fillings and seasonal offerings.
Cocoagraph was created in 2011 by art lover Rae Vittorelli. As a student at the School of Visual Arts in New York, Vittorelli studied photography and printmaking through a vintage lens. Later at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, she earned a BFA in 3D fine arts.
