It looks like barks, cakes, chocolates, and caramels are a few of Oprah’s favorite things this year.
Winfrey revealed her official 2014 list of “Favorite Things” online this week, and also will feature the items in the December issue of her O magazine, out Nov. 11
"I tasted, I tested, I sniffed, I touched, I lotioned, I portioned, I snuggled, I brewed, I steeped, I read, I shared, I dared, and then I did it all again…and again…and again!" Winfrey told USA Today about the 2014 list. "These wonderful things — large, small, glittery, or truffled (especially truffled) — are my favorite gifts to give and receive."
The 72-items list included everything from a $700 Golden Beats by Dr. Dre Set, to a $265 Ginger Beauty and Wellness Collection and a $365 Copper Tray and Mug Set.
And, of course, it also included some sweet treats, including:

Annie B’s, a small, family-owned Minnesota caramel company that makes the handcrafted caramels, says its employees found out that their caramels had made the list when Entertainment Tonight called the factory to place an order in lieu of the big news.
“It is so thrilling to be part of Oprah’s elite 'Favorite Things' gift list and we’re excited for the adventure ahead, even if it’s a little overwhelming,” says Justin and Amanda Henke, owners of Annie B’s. “We truly value our employees and wouldn’t be here without their hard work and dedication. It is incredible that our little 18-person operation is getting so much national attention.”
The gift box contains 35 caramels and can be filled with original, sea salt caramel or assorted, which includes original, sea salt caramel and buttered rum. Each caramel is made using local products when possible, with milk, butter, sugar, condensed milk and natural flavoring.
The only process that isn’t completed by hand is the cutting and wrapping of each caramel. With continued growth, the Henkes plan on keeping the cozy, family-owned culture and high quality, all-natural ingredients.
With the holiday season ahead, they’re also opening a temporary pop-up shop in the Lowertown neighborhood in downtown Saint Paul beginning Nov. 7, 2014. The shop will be open through the holidays, Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m, at 266 7thStreet East, St Paul, Minn. And customers also can buy the caramels on the Annie B’s website.
The pop-up shop will feature an Oprah’s “Favorite Things” wooden boxed gift set, as well as other packed caramel and popcorn sets.
The caramels come in a variety of flavors, including: original, chocolate, butter rum, chocolate raspberry, cappuccino, amaretto, black raspberry, maple, apple, black licorice, sea salt caramel, chocolate sea salt, pumpkin spice, peppermint, cinnamon and egg nog.
