L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates has had a big year. The Wapole, N.H.-based company, known for crafting European-inspired bonbons for a devoted following in New England, marked 30 years in operation.

These days you can grab a chocolate bar with almost anything inside. In the past year companies have introduced flavors ranging from marshmallows to ginger to hemp seeds.

The bars are created exclusively from a variety of regional beans.
