In celebration of Oktoberfest, Snyder's of Hanover will introduce its limited edition Bavarian Style Oktoberfest Pretzels.

Snyder’s of Hanover has transitioned its main pretzel bakery in Hanover, Pennsylvania, to a peanut-free production facility to accommodate consumer demand for snacks free of the allergen.

Golden Enterprises, Inc. (the “Company”) and Utz Quality Foods, Inc. of Hanover, PA (“Utz”) announced that they entered into a definitive merger agreement on July 18, 2016, pursuant to which Utz will acquire the Company and Company stockholders will receive $12.00 per share in cash.

While overall growth is minimal, classic pretzel products are clearly alive and well in today’s snack foods market.
