Registration is now open for both BakingTech 2012: ‘Rise Up: Community, Company, Industry, Self’ and MarketPlace 2012, to be held on March 4-7, at Chicago’s Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile.
BakingTech 2012, sponsored by the American Society of Baking (ASB), Swedesboro, N.J., will highlight keynote addresses from David Grossman from The Grossman Group, a Chicago-based communications company; Paul White, a psychologist, author and speaker; and chef Klaus Tenbergen, a certified master baker and assistant professor at California State University, Fresno, Calif. Technical sessions will focus on topics such as old school ASBE, niche/products baking, engineering, market demographics, today's bakery, ingredients, safety/sanitation and logistics/supply chain.
As an adjunct to BakingTech 2012, ASB also features MarketPlace 2012, in which exhibitors can show off their products and make those important business connections with baking professionals.
