Orange Cream and Root Beer Floats bring back memories for many. York, Pa.-based Wolfgang Candy Company, however, looks to introduce a new generation to the pleasures of soda fountains with its newest launch, the Classic Fountain Soda Mini Pretzel product line.
“This product is so fun and completely unique,” says Ben McGlaughlin, ceo at Wolfgang Candy Co. “We haven’t been able to find anything even remotely similar to it. We think consumers are going to love the nostalgic flair of the flavors.”
For the orange cream variety, mini pretzels are enrobed in an orange cream-infused white chocolate to create a crunchy, but traditional, orange cream soda fountain experience. Creamy milk chocolate is blended with a proprietary root beer flavor to make Wolfgang’s Root Beer Float Mini Pretzels.
“Both flavors give consumers a memorable, unique, and tasty treat,” asserts McGlaughlin. “Immediately, the flavors make you reminiscent of sitting at a counter enjoying a fountain soda. You really taste both the orange cream and the root beer flavors.”
Each Classic Fountain Soda Flavor comes in a retro-designed 5.3-oz. stand-up box. The suggested retail price is $4.99 and floor shippers are available.
Wolfgang Candy Co., which was founded in York in 1921, is one of the oldest family-owned chocolate companies in the United States. Recently infused and strengthened through a private equity partnership, the ownership team includes core fourth-generation family members.
