Effective May 13, The Hershey Co. global leadership team will look slightly different. By mostly promoting key executives from within, the multinational chocolate and sweets manufacturer looks to further enhance its ability to execute its business strategy, accelerate international growth as well as develop and broaden leadership talent.

Majority of the personnel changes are occurring from within the company. The changes include the following:
Humberto Alfonso |
Humberto Alfonso will become president, international. With extensive international experience, Alfonso will drive business growth for the company outside of the United States and Canada. Currently serving as the cfo and chief administrative officer, Alfonso will position the company to achieve its international growth objectives.
David Tacka |
David Tacka will become senior vice president, cfo. His extensive financial experience, including holding the position of chief accounting officer, will benefit Hershey as it maintains its disciplined approach to global expansion.
Michele Buck |
Presently serving as Hershey’s chief growth officer, Michele Buck will become president, North America. Buck’s strategic focus and consumer expertise will help accelerate the continued growth in the United States and Canada, the company’s largest markets.
E. Daniel Vucovich |
Currently leading Hershey’s U.S. business, E. Daniel Vucovich will become senior vice president, chief commercial officer. With a go-to-market experience and expertise, Vucovich will assist in the global growth of Hershey’s iconic brands.

marketing officer, D. Michael Wege will lead Hershey’s strategic planning, R and D, innovation and the global Hershey Experience. Currently the chief commercial officer, he will continue to improve the company’s knowledge capabilities as well as marketing initiatives and corporate brand reputation.
Additionally, on April 29, Waheed Zaman will be joining the company as senior vice president chief administrative officer. As the company expands internationally, Zaman will be responsible for optimizing Hershey’s information technology and global shared services functions.
