THE HOOK: Known for its authentic American flavors, Choclatique has introduced Ingots, Tablets and Tapestries to its collection. The Ingots chocolate bars feature flavors Private Reserve Dark, Prestige Milk, Brite-White, Azteca Mexican Milk, Q-91 Functional and chocolate assortments. Choclatique’s Q-91 chocolate Ingots use premium cacao beans from Central and South America, Africa and Asia and contain ingredients said to have positive effects on the body, such as lowering blood pressure, preventing tooth decay and increasing levels of serotonin in the brain. The Tablets collection features Private Reserve Dark Chocolate, Prestige Milk Chocolate, Brite-White Chocolate and Azteca Milk Chocolate along with five single-origin chocolates. The Tapestries are large, artistically decorated chocolate bars that come in varieties including Chocolate Dreams & Moon Beams, Chocolate Swirl and Bumpy Road. All of Choclatique’s products are hand-made, hand-decorated and hand-packed. In addition, Los Angeles-based Easy Leaf Products has joined Chef Dennis Williford and NAVAN Natural Vanilla Liqueur to produce edible gold (oro fino) and edible silver (argento fino). The decorative powders and sprinkles can be used to gild chocolates and can be found on Choclatique’s Champagne Truffles.
