Hershey, Kraft play calling S'mores for tailgaters
To ensure a winning tailgate this football season, The Hershey Co. and Kraft Foods are teaming up with football analyst Jesse Palmer to sweeten pre-game rituals with S'mores, The Official Dessert of Tailgating! According to Tailgating.com, 46% of fans will tailgate at least six times this year.
Recognizing that Americans enjoy S'mores, a classic treat made with the perfect combination of Hershey's milk chocolate, Kraft Jet-Puffed marshmallows, and Honey-Maid graham crackers, form more than 80 years, the two companies have come up with a promotion that make it “easier than ever” to make S'mores part of every fan’s tailgate.
Grillmasters are being prepped to use the easy "build it, wrap it, grill it" preparation method, which Palmer, current ESPN College GameDay analyst breaks down on the website, www.smoressmiles.com.
"We all know that tailgating is synonymous with football, but not everyone knows that having the right dessert can make or break your tailgate," says Palmer, "S'mores can be easily made on the grill, making it the perfect game day treat."
