CandyStore.com has once again created a map illustrating the favorite jelly bean flavors in each state.
The online bulk retailer reviewed more than 13 years of candy sales data and the results from more than 10,000 survey responses to map out jelly bean flavor preferences.
Like last year, Cinnamon took the top spot again this year, placing first in nine states and earning Top 3 rankings in 20 states. The polarizing Black Licorice flavor earned the No. 2 spot, receiving Top 3 rankings in 22 states.
Buttered Popcorn came in at No. 3, followed by Cherry at No. 4 and Juicy Pear at No. 5. Coffee, Watermelon, Root Beer, Cotton Candy and Orange round out the Top 10.
California mirrored the national rankings with Cinnamon taking the top spot, followed by Buttered Popcorn. New Yorkers prefer sour jelly beans, but Buttered Popcorn also came in second. In Illinois, chocolate-flavored jelly beans are the favorite, while Texans prefer Buttered Popcorn.
